Music has been at the center of my life for more than two decades. I received my first guitar one Christmas morning when I was twelve, I never looked back. Over the years I’d start playing in neighborhood bands, making terrible recordings, and the like. After a lot of hard work and some lucky breaks I eventually carved out a career for myself, recording in some of Hollywood’s most iconic studios, touring across America, composing for TV, and teaching in classrooms full of kids just as crazy about music as I had been when I was their age.

Over the years I’ve been fortunate to work as a session guitarist, touring musician, composer, and educator. I’ve toured with Jack Russell’s Great White, recorded on SHINee’s The Best From Now On—a Billboard #1 and RIAJ Gold-certified album—and written music for American Pickers on the History Channel as well as a handful of other TV shows. My playing can be heard on various other projects ranging from K-pop releases to Disney Channel productions.

Teaching has remained a bright spot of my career. For well over a decade I’ve taught private lessons as well as classes at accredited institutions. I enjoy helping students discover not only how to play an instrument, but how to understand music in a way that stays with them long after they leave the classroom. The journey’s been fun so far and I’m excited to explore more opportunities in the years to come.
